may entail switching from a top-tab to a side-tab folder
format. Making changes from one filing system to another
is known as "file conversion", and TAB's Professional
Services Group specializes in planning and implementing
file conversions.
The
Professional Services Group outlines and documents the
entire conversion process. In a highly controlled
environment, TAB's certified Project Managers and
supervisors hire, train, and manage necessary contingent
workforce. The conversion process is set up in an
assembly line style, where each step in the conversion
process can be easily tracked and monitored for quality.
All work is documented with task control worksheets,
which provide an audit trail so that any error can be
traced back to its source. TAB file conversion can be
done completely on-site, with minimal impact on
day-to-day operations during conversion. The end product
for the client is a more efficient, cost-effective,
adaptable filing system.
TAB Project Managers
TAB ensures the quality of file conversions by requiring
that Professional Services Group members who manage
conversions be certified as project managers and
supervisors in order to fulfill their responsibilities
for training staff and managing projects. The
Professional Services group certification program
ensures that the skills necessary to implement complex
projects are well developed in all on-site management
personnel.
Certified Project Managers are the keys to the success
of TAB's Professional Services Group. The Group is a
highly trained and motivated management team. Each
manager receives intensive training during a structured
certification program. Certification can be earned on
three levels: Supervisor, Project Manager, and Senior
Project Manager. At each level, Group members are tested
on the skills necessary for the successful training and
managing of contingent workers. The training and
knowledge of our TAB professionals make any changes to
records management procedures and processing of files
under the new system go more smoothly.

Products Training

The price of each Filetracker™ system includes a two-day
on-site training class. The class is customized to fit
client needs based on the modules the client purchases.
We employ the Train-the-Trainer program and require that
the company designate at least one employee to perform
the on-going role of system administrator.
The training curriculum includes:
Basic and expanded concepts/functions of our products
Operation of customized feature
Advanced query functions
Bar-code features and operation
Producing reports
Administrative functions: Security, Users, Report
Design, Wand Maintenance, Table and Window Design
The effectiveness of the training program depends on the
client requiring attendance by the designated system
administrator, technical personnel, records management
leaders, and end users--in a dedicated, quiet,
uninterrupted environment. Instruction combines
classroom lectures and demonstrations with intensive
hands-on sessions. This interactive format allows
participants to learn a great deal from one another, as
well as from the trainer--using a full range of proven,
effective learning methods.
Our trainers are strong group coordinators with
well-developed interpersonal and instructional skills.
And, they are more than trainers--they are directly
involved with the system installation at the site and
tailor their sessions to emphasize ideas and suggestions
relevant to customized use of the system. This approach
allows employees to concentrate solely on learning to
use the product, without having to filter generic
training information through their personal experience
in order to make the system work.
Tabquik Service Bureau

What is Tabquik Service Bureau?
Tabquik is a software program that allows for quick and
easy custom label production. There are essentially two
situations in which Tabquik Service Bureau would be
helpful:
For producing only a few labels at a time.
For producing many labels at a time.
If you create only a few files at a time (less than 15),
it would be very convenient for you to be able to
produce those new labels at your desk as you need them,
and have them immediately available to you. In such a
case, we would provide you with a Tabquik Personal Pak,
including the appropriate Tabquik software to use on
your existing computer system. Tabquik Service Bureau
would also create a custom label definition for you to
use in creating your labels. All you will need to do
from that point on is data entry and printing of your
new labels.
If you create files in large batches (more than 15), we
would handle everything from data entry to printing and
shipping your new labels. You send us your data and we
ship you your labels.
Simple as that.
This usually involves a turnaround time of less than a
week, and data can be sent either via snail mail or
